Introducing Zimbabwean Scientists


Zimbabwe is a Southern African country with a population of about 14 million. It is a country of highly literate, intelligent and diligent people. Zimbabweans are highly sought after because of their resilience and industrious nature, hence Zimbabweans are spread across the world for different purposes ranging from finances, politics, social, marital and religion.


Due to de-industrialization affected by economic instability in the country, Zimbabwe has a sizeable number of world-renowned Scientists e.g Professor Christopher Chetsanga renowned Biochemist (Havard University Alumni), Simba Makoni renowned politician cum medicinal chemist (Leeds University Alumni), Dr Pride Chigwedere renowned physician-scientist (Havard University and University of Zimbabwe Alumni), Dr Rachel Chikwamba renowned plant geneticist (Iowa State Alumni), Nando De Freitas renowned in machine learning and deep learning (Wits Alumni and Google), to name only but a few.
